Christopher Ford CMP, CGMP, DES | Principal
Christopher Ford is an accomplished leader in events design and management with a diverse career spanning advertising, broadcast television, and event management. He has a proven track record of creating, producing, and executing impactful and memorable events.
Prior to launching The Shane Group in 2020, he served as the Director of Conferences and Special Services at the Newseum, an internationally recognized institution dedicated to the U.S. First Amendment. Later he served as the Director of Event Production and Protocol at the United States Institute of Peace. Here, he managed significant events such as the 2022 US-Africa Leaders Summit. Keeping up with the evolving events industry he expanded into the realm of virtual and hybrid events serving as the Senior Director of Hybrid Events at TechChange; a Washington D.C. based global social impact organization.
Christopher is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa. He holds several prestigious certifications, including Certified Meeting Planner, Certified Government Meeting Planner, and Certified Digital Event Strategist. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Protocol School of Washington, which has equipped him with a nuanced understanding of protocol and etiquette in international diplomatic settings. His ability to design and execute events with exceptional style and flair was recognized in 2007 when BizBash magazine named him one of Florida’s top event planners.
Del Galloway, APR Fellow | Principal
Del is a communications and public relations executive with proven success building brands, strengthening reputations and driving results for Fortune 500 companies and other global organizations – from AT&T and United Way to Wells Fargo. He has a gift for “connecting the dots” between organizations and stakeholders, brands and consumers, and key influentials and communities. It's Del's understanding of relationships, his focus on reputations and his ability to convey the right message at the right time - when to push, pull or pause - that have made him a trusted advisor to clients worldwide.
In 2004, Del served as President and CEO of the Public Relations Society of America, a leading global public relations association. In 2018, PRSA recognized Del with its Gold Anvil Award - the Society’s highest individual honor - for lifetime achievement in public relations.
He is accredited in public relations (APR) and is a PRSA Fellow, recognizing public relations leadership and excellence.
Del holds a master’s degree in communications and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from The University of Florida, where he is honored as an “Alumni of Distinction.”
